Which Race, Two Choices?

Let's start getting a head-count for the upcoming mtn bike races:

We have the one in our own backyard, "Race to the River" on April 22nd.

Or, a bigger, more competitive "Tiger Rag" on the same day.

Obviously, we could race here, but would we just be racing ourselves? No fun in that...

I may even NOT shave my legs for that one!

Harbison:
1. Our House +
2. Local Support +
3. Short Drive +
4. Less Competition -

Tiger Rag:
1. Great Course +
2. Good Competition +
3. Clemson Kicks A$$. +
4. Long Drive -

I'm torn, but I will probably do the RTTR. If no one else shows up, I am guaranteed 1st place.

The State Criterium Championship is that weekend. I will be doing that race. I am sure that Toby S. and Peter will be there as well. And yes dirt is still my friend but, I will shave cause hairy legs in a crit just aint right. -Damon

I will be camping out in Pisgah watching a couple exchange vows, right after that, I will promptly bunny hop the cake and ride the mountains.

That is all.

CRAP CRAP & CRAP - This figures the one and only race in the midlands has to be on a race weekend, two bigger races are already scheduled. On the up side for the Clemson race SERC is putting on a race at Issaqueena on July 1. Should we put something on MTBR crying for competion. Last year we were the only team in several classes that showed. I'll go with the masses, tell me where we are racing.

Anyone up for Athens GA XC race the weekend of 4/15?

I'm either going to be doing the Clemson race or the State Crit with Damon and Toby S, et al.

I figured such - you guys and your new featherweight Scotts. Do they allow crushers on Hybirds, if not I'm out. I'll take the barends off I know they frown at that.

I say Clemson, for I am trying to do well in that series also! But we do owe it to Harrell's to support local races for advertisment. Clemson is my vote!
